Dance Exams - Learn and Take

Our dance pupils undertake Dance Exams (association United Teachers of Dance) every year - in ballet, tap and modern. From UTD Dance Grades through to UTD Medal Tests, our students 'learn exams'. Every student receives a copy of their marking sheet, together with appropriate Awards (such as medals) and a Commendation (such as certificates).

Taking a dance exam 'is a whole different level' - in my first dance exam, I was 'a nervous wreck' (trying to remember my dance steps, and saying 'it wasn't exam day' to myself) whilst just remembering 'to keep going'. Although 'in the end' I was pleased when I saw my marking sheet, and was presented with my medal!
